Question New PC build - AMD or Nvidia?

Hi All,

I'm from the UK and looking at building a new PC. I currently play at 1440p at 180hz, and mainly play multiplayer games such as COD, Destiny, Rust, Tarkov with the occasional single player game.

Prior to Black Friday I was going to go with a 4070ti Super, however, with the sales the 7900XTX is only £30 more. Which option would be best for future proofing this build and are there any other parts that should be changed? £1,750 - £1,800 is my max budget.

Any feedback/suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Don't think about it, do it.
Change the psu to 850w

7900xtx has ~15-20% more performance. The 4070ti super is better if you need RTX performance, Nvidia encoder for streaming, or cuda for specific workstation tasks.
