Hey,

I want to build a new pc but I have a hard time deciding on which parts to choose.
The new pc will have some donor parts from my current pc.
All information is listed below.
I gratefully appreciate every reply.

Approximate Purchase Date: My pc current pc was bulid in 2018.
Current pc: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3JQh2V

Budget Range/Location: My budget is around 1000$. Won't matter if it's a bit more or less.
My location is Denmark. (won't mind buying from european stores)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies, homework

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: From my current pc there is a few parts which I think I will reuse to save some money for the budget.

The parts I will reuse are the following:

HDD: Seagate barracuda st1000dm010

NVMe SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S500BW 500 GB

CPU cooler: Corsair H100i PRO RGB
Not sure about reusing the cooler. It runs fine but it's still 7 years and counting, so might be wiser to change it.

Below I have listed the new parts which i'm currently thinking the new pc would consist of but I would really appreciate some opions on the bulid or suggetions on what to change:

Motherboard: Asrock B650M-HDV/M.2 Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard
Was recommened by Techspot as the best entry option.

GPU: RX 9060 XT 16 GB (PowerColor Radeon RX 9060 XT Reaper - 16GB GDDR6 RAM) or RX 7800 XT (PowerColor RX 7800 XT - 16 GB GDDR6 RAM)
I can't really decied on which one to choose. The 9060 is about 100$ cheaper in my country.
I know it's not as powerfull as the 7800 XT but who knows how big of an impact FSR4 will have on the performance for future games.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7600x

RAM: G. SKill Flare X5 DDR5 - 6000 - 32 GB: 2 x 16 GB - CL36
I'm not so sure on the ram. Don't know if I even need 32 GB or what to go for while still staying the budget.

PSU: Thermalright TG (Modular) 750W - 80 plus gold.
The PSU is probably the part which i'm most unsure about. I don't really know that to go for. Seems like PSU's are quiet expensive in Denmark.

Case: Phanteks XT Pro. I know it comes with out case fans but I will reuse from my current case (NZXT S340)

PCPartPicker list:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2PJ3XR

I don't really have any part preferences.

Do you need to buy OS: No (Free acces to Windows)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Don't have any preferred websites but proshop.dk seems to have the best prices.

Overclocking: No / Maybe

Multiple GPUs: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080. I might want to upgrade to 1440p in the future if the pc can handle it.

Additional Comments: Type of games im playing.
Different racing games, FPS, Single player, multiplayer games.
And of course GTA 6 when it's released at some point. I want the pc to able to handle GTA 6 with decent grapichs settings.

Why Im Upgrading: My current pc is getting old. I still rely on a 1060 6GB and it's starting to struggle in newer games. Grapichs have to be set to low or maybe medium at most games.
I'm begging to struggle with minor issues a lot more often. I think after 7 years it has done is job well and now it's time for an upgrade.

That psu will suffice just fine. You want DDR5-6000 CL30 for these AM5 cpu's if you intend on gaming seeing how games benefit from low latency RAM.

Yeah, that budget is kinda restrictive :) . Wanted to put a CORSAIR RMx PSU, but they are over 1000kr.

If budget is a problem, realize that you can upgrade to as good as a i9-9900K on your motherboard:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON/support#cpu
You can today, overclock the 8600k by perhaps 35% with a good cooler.
A thermalright peerless is about $50. Your H100 will fail soon and the peerless is considerably better.

For gaming, the biggest benefit comes from a stronger graphics card. Your psu is good, but stronger graphics will likely need a stronger psu.

Thanks for the reply.

I will definitely go with the better RAM. Makes a lot of sense when you explain it like that.
The case you have choosen seems like a much better option. I have actually seen a few people mention it before. So I will definitley go with the Montech case instead of the phanteks.

Love the cooler. Seems like a much better option instead of going with a cooler that might not last much longer. And the price is really great, seems like a bargin in terms of the performance for money.

Regarding the GPU, you won't say it's worth paying the extra for a 7800 XT over a 9060 XT?
As long as the 9060 XT will be able to handle 1440p and GTA 6 when it's released, then that's all I care for.

You really peaked my interest on the 7500F. I might go with that instead of the 7600X.
The price difference is only like 200 kr (30$ ish) but the difference in performance ain't that big.

Glad the PSU if fine.

Really appreciate getting some advice from someone who seems to have lot more expert knowledge than I do. Love that you actually went and found the products on the website with danish pricing. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the reply.

Yea I know the budget is kinda restrictive. Have to balance the wallet with golf aswell😏.

I have decided on upgrading the memory to the one you and Why_Me have suggested.
Seem like much better option than my intial choice.

I have also decided to go with the Montech air 903 base atx tower mid instead of the phanteks case.
I am also going with a different cooler than my current one. Now I just have to decided if go with ID-COOLING SE-214-XT ARGB 68.2 CFM CPU Cooler or ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE 58 CFM CPU Cooler

The CPU you have chosen instead of the 7600x has got be quiet interested. I as bit cheaper, like 200 kr (30$) but the difference in performance ain't that big. I might just go with that instead of the 7600x.

In terms of the PSU, are you sure 550W would be enough? I seen lot of videos where they use 750w with specs like this.

That's an interesting approach. I have not thought of that.

How would you suggest my system could like if I kept the same motherboard?
What parts could I get and still stay within the budget.

Btw i'm not the best at overclocking.
