Question New PC build - (for Starfield) (Yet to buy) (please verify and advise)

Hi,

I have been gaming on an intel i5 7600K till now with an RTX 2070 Super on MSI Z270 Camo Squad. It was doing fine (on low or medium settings) at 3440X1440 (ultrawide) till I started "Starfield". Regardless of what setting I put in (lo, medium, ultra, whatever) it freezes and I have tried everything in the world to solve it. Nothing works.

I think finally it is time to file for divorce and find a new wife. As also that motherboard does not support windows 11 though you can essentially say I am literally buying PC for Starfield.

So here is the build I have prepared after doing some research at my end.

My Goals -

1. Any bloody game at ultra max settings at every level.
2. Future upgrade options
3. Starfield
4. Personal Gaming only and no video editing, live streaming, photoshopping, etc.


And these are the specs I have come up with based on the availability in Sydney.

CPU	AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Base: 4.7GHz, Boost: 5.2GHz / 104MB Cache / AM5 / 8 Core / 16 Threads / 120 Watt)	AM5 socket has more options in the future, I think. And AMD is the gaming go to CPU at the moment I suppose.
Motherboard	ASRock X870E Nova WiFi MB, X870E	I hope it is not an overkill.
Graphics	PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB	Price + Ultra gaming + Starfield (as I am told that game is better optimized for AMD) Is that true?
RAM	G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Black 64GB (2x32GB) PC5-48000 (6000MHz)
Storage	Crucial 4TB SSD, T705, M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 5.0 (no heatsink)	My assembler is telling me heatsink one is not suitable for this motherboard, and I am really not sure why.
Case	HYTE Y70 Touch Infinite Panda Mid Tower E-ATX Case
PSU	Lian Li Edge EG1000 1000W White Power Supply	I initially wanted a 1200 W PSU but my assembler told me that will be an overkill.
Air CPU Cooler	Thermalright Frost Commander 140 Black Dual Loop CPU Cooler, 140mm and 120mm Fan
Case fans	HYTE THICC FP12 Fan - 6 qty

Please feel free to suggest anything better for any of those components. I do not want to overkill anything and waste money, if there is anything I can safely downgrade without compromising any of my goals I will be more than happy to do it.

But do you think SSD with Heatsink will work on that MB as my assembler has for some reason asked me to select a non heat sink one?

I have no idea what he is talking about as you can use any NVMe SSD with or without a heatsink that comes with the storage device on any NVMe slot so long as the slot is compatible with the length of that device. The motherboards often come with integrated heat spreaders that are good enough. If the heatsink that comes on the storage device is too high profile to fit in a slot because of a graphics card above it, then the heatsink can be removed and the integrated motherboard heatsink can be used.

You have reduced my cost by a 1000 dollar and you have added an extra storage. Even if I add the Hyte and 64 GB back it is still a 1000 dollar less.
