Question New PC build lagging in games. Fast internet speeds.

I recently had Geek Squad upgrade my PC with a new Motherboard, CPU, Ram. All drivers are up to date and fresh windows install. My computer stays connected to the internet fine, using an ethernet connection. I Just had Comcast over today for an inspection and brand new modem, and they tell me everything looks fine. The internet speeds are at 550-600 mbps.

The problems come in online multiplayer games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc. I can play just fine for a couple minutes, then a couple minutes of rubber banding lag, and this cycle repeats. Some games have dedicated symbols for when its a connection issue which appears for me.

Wireless or wired? Did you do a speedtest on your computer? Does it happen in any other systems if you have any at the house?
