Hello everyone, I recently just moved to Helsinki, Finland. One of my friend who lives here want to build a new PC to play games like COD Warzone, Battlefield, mostly shooting games and also online multiplayer games. I'm trying to build a PC with a monitor for him within his budget; his budget is around 1200 euros.

So far, this is what I got:

Processor: Intel Core i7-12700KF, LGA1700, 3.60 GHz, 25MB, Boxed

CPU Cooler: Thermaltake UX200 ARGB Lighting CPU Cooler
Link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...-argb-lighting-cpu-cooler-prosessorijaahdytin

Motherboard: ASRock B660M Pro RS, mATX-emolevy
Link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Show/179017/b660m-pro-rs/asrock-b660m-pro-rs-matx-emolevy

SSD: Kingston 2TB NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD-levy, M.2 2280, 3500/2800 MB/s

RAM: Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) FURY Beast DDR5 RGB, 5600MHz, CL36, 1.25V, musta
Link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...-fury-beast-ddr5-rgb-5600mhz-cl36-1-25v-musta

Casing: Phanteks XT Pro Ultra - Black, midi tower case with window, black

PSU: Thermaltake 650W Smart BM3 Bronze - TT Premium Edition, semimodulaarinen ATX-virtalähde, 80 Plus Bronze
Link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...ulaarinen-atx-virtalahde-80-plus-bronze-musta

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 WINDFORCE OC (LHR) graphics card, 12GB GDDR6
Link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...3060-windforce-oc-lhr-naytonohjain-12gb-gddr6

Monitor: LG 23,8" UltraGear 24GN60R-B, 144Hz Full HD -pelimonitori

This should be the full package; feel free to point it out if I'm missing something.

Please do mention if this build can cause any bottlenecks.

Went a bit over 1200, but you get better a better graphics card, and more ram.

PSU: Thermaltake 650W Smart BM3 Bronze - TT Premium Edition, semimodulaarinen ATX-virtalähde, 80 Plus Bronze

DO NOT BUY IT! It is low quality PSU and will give build all sorts of powering issues (e.g random reboots or can even outright kill the hardware).

Since PSU powers everything, it is the most important component inside the PC!

That being said, good PSUs to go for, are: Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.

My PCs are also powered by Seasonic. I have 2x PRIME TX-650 and 1x Focus PX-550 units. Full specs with pics in my sig.

E.g the very same PRIME TX-650 as i have,
link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...aarinen-atx-virtalahde-80-plus-titanium-musta
The best offered by Seasonic. Highest efficiency there is: 80+ Titanium. Longest warranty there is: 12 years. Highest hold-up time there currently is: 35ms. Also, dead silent operation and many, many benefits more. Not to mention extremely good price.

I payed €206.50 for my PRIME TX-650 and oldest of them is now 8 years old (bought it Q4 2016), while still going strong.
Oh, i'm virolainen, so send greetz to your Finnish friend. :) (If you don't know what virolainen means, ask it from your Finnish friend.)

Better option would be 120 SE,
link: https://www.jimms.fi/fi/Product/Sho...sassin-120-se-prosessorijaahdytin-musta-hopea

It is the value king of CPU air coolers, is much better than the Thermaltake RGB puke you included and is also cheaper.

PSU: Thermaltake 650W Smart BM3 Bronze - TT Premium Edition, semimodulaarinen ATX-virtalähde, 80 Plus Bronze

Choosing a PC case is personal choice and i suggest that your friend picks out the PC case that they like to see the most.

Love the list! Can you please recommend an Nvidia GPU rather than an AMD GPU?

Thanks for the suggestion on the PSU! Highly appreciate it.

And also, thanks for the cooler suggestion, I think I will go with the one you suggested. Again, thank you!

CoD prefers AMD, and AMD offers more Vram than Nvidia at the same price points. While 8gb is enough for me, as I am strictly a WoW player, with no interest in newer titles, I don't recommend any GPU less than 12gb these days, for others. The days of 8gb being enough, even for 1080p, are numbered. The 4060 8gb is similar performance, for less, today, but a 16gb 7600xt will hold up longer, if they want to play newer titles later on.
