Hi just looking for possible changes to my rig that I'm saving for. I'm fairly sure after reading every review under the sun, my build is good for what I want to achieve with it.

This gaming rig will be used for Gaming, recording and rendering.

Just need any recommendations that i could apply to my build to make it that much better. I have a little flexibility in terms of my budget, possibly £50 more or less..

CPU: i7 4790K 4.0GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 Liquid Cooling
Motherboard: MSi Z97 Gaming 3
Memory: Corsair Vengeance PRO 16GB (2x8GB)
Storage #1: Kingston Hyper X 128GB SSD
Storage #2: Weston Digital HDD 1TB
GPU: MSi GTX 970 4GB (Twin Frozr V)
Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)
PSU: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

At the moment, this build is around £1050. My budget can probably extend between £1150-£1200 possibly. As cheap as possible around that budget would be golden.

I have almost this exact same set up. And I spent $1300 on mine, and I didn't even get liquid cooling. So I would say you are getting a good deal.
Anyway, my rig runs fine. Perfect actually, I had a few hiccups but they were my own fault and I fixed them easily.
My Temps are also very good and I have only a 20 dollar cooler.

Hi pcdudedude, didn't mean to down vote your recommendation. Pretty new to the whole forum thing, so my bad!

What cooler would you recommend? As the Cooler I have been looking at, hasn't had any 'bad' reviews as of yet!

Yeah the PC you have put together looks beast, the only trouble is, I have already bought the Case, Mobo and CPU. I was going for a red/black theme aswell (yes I know common, but still good!) So if you can adjust just the cooler, SSD and PSU It would be highly appreciative!

I had the same case you listed. Changed the motherboard, to the one you already bought, and changed the ram, to keep the color scheme. Also changed the GPU to match as well.

Are you looking for water cooling or air cooling?

What would be best?

I probably wont overclock, but I may do in the future as I have been advised to. I will probably go for watercooling, but wanted to make sure that everything in my rig will be alright to achieve what I want it to achieve. Such as, vvideo games on max settings, recording whilst playing, video editing and casual streaming. :)

Oh yea, you are fine.

I currently Stream and use Shadowplay to capture video for the Witcher 3 on max settings and everything is smooth and fine.
Also I use premier pro to edit videos. The only problem I have ran into is when I screwed around with premier pro settings and tried to over process a video. It made my i7 get a little hotter than I like but still not over the Max.
