New PC Build, recommendations welcome

As I usually do, planned on upgrading my pc and decided to completely make a new one. I haven't been keeping track of tech lately, and want feedback from people who may have better ideas.

I have 2 GTX 970 FTW+
A 1000 watt PSU

I was looking into getting:
i7-5930K - kind of expensive but it gives 40 lines of pci instead of the 28
ASrock x99 Extreme LGA 2011-v3
Samsung 850 EVO 2.5" 500 GB Sata III SSD
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB - want to upgrade to 64 GB and maybe 128 if I want, so starting with just 1 at the moment
Western Digital 4TB Black 64 MB cache
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Deep cool Gammaxx 400 CPU Cooler - because the i7 is processor only
Antec Twelve Hundred v3 Full ATX Case


Thoughts? Opinions? Recommendations?

Do you really need the 40 lanes, if you don't plan to go to SLI? Anyway, the build looks pretty good. It will last you a fair bit of time. The board supports DDR4 ram, which is pretty good.

oh ya, another thought I had, the mb supports sli, does that mean it doesn't need a bridge? Or would a bridge be better to use?
