New Pc Build Streaming/Gaming

Right now i have an i7-3770 with streams 720p60fps easily with my gtx 1050 ti. I am looking to build a new computer and my goal would be 1080pstreaming and 1080p gaming at the same time.

I was looking at two different cpu choices : ryzen 5 1600 or i5-8400. With the i5 i will have to buy a better motherboard and new cooler so it will cost more. Also, the i5 is better with his 6c/6t but the ryzen 5 with 6c/12t would be better for mutli threaded like my editing for small gaming channel and my streaming...

I have already chosen the s340 elite (white) with 2x8gb of trident z 3200mhz and an rog strix gtx 1070ti.

Which cpu do you guys think i should go with?

I will probably get 2600 with B350 MB if 2600 is available. It will be better for streaming compared to 8400.

Its a bit too pricy value/performance wise for me

Either 1600 of 2600 would be better suited for your uses over the 8400. Just make sure to overclock the Ryzen as far as it will safely go to get the most performance from it.
