The system have the following components.

1x Corsair ML120 Pro RGB Fan
2x Corsair ML 140 Pro RGB Fans)

Asus BC-12D2HT 16xDW+blu combo Optical Drive

PCU Corsair AX760 Pro

Motherboard Asus Rog Strix Z370 H gaming

CPU i7 8700 Hexa Core 3.2Ghz

Corsair Hydro H100x Liquid Cooler (i replaced the stock fans with 2x Corsair ML120 PRO CO-9050040-WW, 120mm, Black with no LED)

Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb 8x2 3200 mhz

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps

Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM006 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive for secondary drive

On the motherboard the boot LED light is green. indicating a boot problem.

i have already check all cables and connections. i tried to set up the boot order in the UEFI Bios to the DVD Blue ray drive. But pc just post right back into UEFI bios.

Please Help...

In the BIOS there is a boot override not just a boot order. This is where you need to select what drive to boot from. Select your CD drive or USB to boot from and the system will restart. once it starts you should get text on the screen to press enter or any key to boot from that drive (at least when trying to run the Windows OS install) and the installer will start.

You are getting a boot error LED because there is no OS installed on the SSD/HDD.

Disconnecting everything is not necessary at this point since the issue is installing the OS not a hardware issue.

i am trying to select Optical Drive under Boot Override. But only the SSD is showing. Under secure boot and boot order the optical device is set as boot 1. Urg. Any other settings?

That is a good question, Peter Martin. If the media is is not burnt properly this can be an issue now that you have the DVD drive available in the Boot Override section. If the media in the DVD drive was not burnt using ISO format then the PC will not read it as a bootable media.

well no... in South Africa you can buy a dvd. The usb and internet is not up to speed here. So tommorow i will go and get me a usb stick just to try and boot from it. Maybe it will solve the problem. Maybe the pc boot to fast for a optical drive.

For sure. At this stage i thinking more its a bios thing.... Some advance setting or something. My old pc was old... so i am used to ancient bios. lol. i was so excited about my new pc... now i am starting to hate the thing...

i read something on the internet now.... i think the problem is with the optical drive itself. It seems that the Asus bc-12d2ht is probably not compatabile with uefi.

successfully dump and downgrade firmware on any "UHD Friendly" devices, such as Asus BC-12D2HT and similar drives having MediaTek chipset inside them.

it has something to do with that.

So my hopes is up now that a usb stick may solve the problem.

The USB boot stick did the job. PC booted perfectly. No other problems. I am extatic. The Asus optical drives firmware was the problem. I definitely recommend booting from a usb stick. Thank You for the support and help.
