[SOLVED] New pc build video output options/required cables.

So I'm building a PC for the first time and I've been watching videos to prepare myself but realized, I'm unsure about my output options after I complete the build. I have two basic questions.

The first is, can I connect my pc directly to my TV and skip the monitor when setting up my system? I plan on only using the tv for video output from the PC and don't have any monitors lying around so I'm hoping I won't have to buy a monitor just for the initial setup.

My second question is, how do I determine the type of cable I'll need for my video output? Also, where do I plug in the video output? I'm building a VR system so I believe the answer is the GPU but how do I determine what adapters or cables I need before I build the pc? My tv has HDMI input so I'm not sure if an HDMI cable will cut it or if I'll need an adapter. My setup is listed below.

CPU: i7-9700k
GPU: RTX-2070
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC LGA1151
RAM: Patriot Viper Gaming DDR4, 16 GB
Cooler: Liquid Cooler, Deepcool Captain 240 Pro
Storage (SSD only): Samsung 860 EVO, 2.5 Inch Sata III SSD
Power: EVGA 550W
Case: Anidees Al-Crystal-AR Mid Tower

Thanks for any help in advanced. Any other insight is appreciated as well since this is my first build attempt but all parts are already in my possession.
