New pc build wont give out picture

I built a pc, my first time doing it, and it wont give out a signal to the monitor. I've used the DVI cable that came with the monitor put it to the pc and it says no signal. I've used an hdmi cable and that won't give me anything through a television either.

Motherboard - MSI 760GMA-P34
CPU - AMD fx6300
PSU corsair 430 w
Graphics card - XFX 7870 GHz edition

Any help is aprreciated

If you are certain that everything is connected and stuff like fans are running properly then you might have damaged your CPU.

Really? Damaged CPU? Where do you get that analysis?

Well from personal experience you might have bent the CPU pins, look closely at the pins on the back of the CPU and see if any are slightly bent

I thought the system speaker would give out beeps for errors but theres nothing. I've tried the things on the check list, tried rebuilding it. Still not giving out a picture, either through HDMI or the motherboards built in ports

Removing the RAM causes the long beeps that should be expected?

And theres no bent CPU pins, nor is there any signal upon removing the Graphics card. Could this be the motherboard that's at fault?

I would guess the graphics card. Can you test it in another system?

Doesn't the 6300 have an apu? Have you tried connecting to the motherboard output?

Yeah I've tried connecting to ports on the graphics card and the motherboard. The CPU pins are all straight, there's nothing that could cause a motherboard short.

It may be a driver issue in which case I wouldnt know what to do, your best bet is to try the graphics card in another computer.

Have you put the graphis card in the slot properly?
Have you connected power to the graphics card?

The card may have been doa ib which case you should cobtact the supplier for a replacement

If it was the graphics card though, would it not work with the card out? like, the onboard graphics? Which still don't show a picture

The fx 6300 does not support on board graphics

I took the graphics card out again and a small silver screw fell out from below the fan housing. I'm not sure if this is the problem, or part of the problem? Should I return the card and get another?

That probably caused a short, try it again if no luck then send it back

Yeah I've tried it again and still no luck. Just so I'm clear, the motherboard video outputs wont work because the FX6300 doesn't support onboard graphics? So it must be a problem with the graphics card? And, when I disconnect the graphics card, should there be a beep? Because there's not. Though I get the sound when I remove the RAM stick

no the fx 6300 doesnt support on board graphics, if you get beeps when you remove the ram, it shows that the mobo is likely to be fine. The only thing i think it could be is the graphics card
