I am building a PC for my son and when we turn it on the power comes on, the fans spin, but on the monitor nothing happens, it fails to even show the initial BIOS screen. Below is the hardware we are using. At first i thought it was a bad CPU and replaced it with a new one but the problem persists. I have also tried swapping the RAM to different spots on the MB. Any help is much appreciated!

Not unless it's new, in which case you can "borrow" CPUs in some cases from AMD. Or at least, I think you can, a friend of mine did it a few months back for a similar reason.

I hope this helps :) good luck with your build regardless.
