Question New PC build won't post

Hi all.

My son and i just built sons first PC with the following components: Asus Prime 320m-k motherboard, Ryzen 3 3200G CPU, 8gb of ram 2666 mhz and 500 watt PSU. All components including ATX tower are brand new.

When we turn on PC, fans start spinning, orange light on mobo is allways on and there is no beep from speaker and also no signal to LCD. We removed ram and then started again. After that one long beep with two short beeps followed. We also changed PSU with another and stil nothing. We also built it outside the tower, same thing. Nothing. We went twice through this guide https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ng-about-post-boot-no-video-problems.1285536/ and found nothing. Please help us find what we're doing wrong. That board needs a bios update, to use that cpu.

I thought abaout that too, but on the box of mobo states that the new ryzen cpu's 2000 and 3000 series are supported.
And how can we update bios if we can not see anything?

Ok, so it is a newer revision, with the necessary bios update, so that shouldn't be the issue. It possibly is a defective board. I don't believe that model is a very good one. What is the make/model of the power supply being used?

this one: INTER-TECH SL-500 500 W Nothing special. We tested with another one, same wattage and same ending.
