Was hoping someone might be kind enough to give some advice.

I'm in the process of getting a component list for a new PC, which will be mainly used for Ableton, and a music notation software, but im also putting in a decent AMD graphics card, as NVIDIA apparently causes lots of issues with Ableton.

I put some specs together for items i wanted to a local PC shop and they came back with some substituted items due to the suppliers they deal with. So here it is -

ASUS Prime H310-Plus R2.0, 1151, ATX, DDR4 motherboard

I7 - 9700 3.0GHz 8 Core

Be Quiet cooler pure rock heatsink & fan

Corsair vengence LPX 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz

Samsung 1TB 860 EVO SSD (x2)

Palit GTX1660 Ti StormX 6GB DDR6 (but i'll have to substitute that for an AMD card, maybe the RX590)

Be Quiet 700w Pure Power 11 fully wired

Fractal Define R6 silent case

I questioned the guy in the local shop about that Motherboard and he said it would be fine. But from what i read its a very basic board compared to the type of PC i want to build.

Will that motherboard be OK for that type of build?

Thanks for any help
and if the guy in the shop is reading this sorry to question your experience at building PC's.
