currently i have a phenom II x4 960, gigabyte's 890gpa-ud3h, radeon 5670 1gb ddr5, and 4gb patriot cl6 ram...i would upgrade because my rig is going to be dead in some time. i wuold like to make a rig that would last 5 years for games at high details...now i don't know which way to go, amd apu's (7870k and some r9 and for example g1 sniper) amd cpu's (8370 and sabertooht 990 and r9) or something from intel ( i don't know anything 😀 ). Or on the other hand, put this pc on life support and hope that it would last until zen comes out. Intel is more expenssive and they make for every new chip a new socket (so i've heard) but i would like to have some answers from you gys, because you now more...:/ so, feel free to comment :) yeah and i currently have a cm 650w bronse psu, and samsung 850 evo 120ssd and wd blue 1tb...

If you can wait, then wait.

But if your pc is working poorly or suddenly breaks, then you can get:

Intel i3 6100
H170 motherboard
DDR4 2133/2400Mhz

And use the HD 5670 until you can afford better gpu.

This will give you a good performance boost over Phenom II X4 960 already, but it also leaves you an upgrade path where you can later swap the i3 6100 to i5 6500, i5 6600 or i7 6700.

Okayyy...what's the difference between H170 and Z170 MB? :/ i've looked, and found some msi MB for arround 130-150E...should it be enogh if i go for i5 or i7? Do i need some aftermarket cpu cooling or it comes with cpu? is kingstone fury x good memory or should i get something like g skill, crucial, crosshair or whatever it's called 😀

Z boards are mainly meant for overclocking. H boards are more basic use and entry-level use.

All except Intel's K cpus come with cpu cooler seemingly. So you won't need one.

Kingston, G.Skill and Crucial are all great choices. Just take the one that is cheapest.
