I want to create a new computer but i will be reusing the hard drive with Windows 7 OS, and the CPU which is an i5 2400. if i reuse the hard drive and cpu, but i get everything else new like the motherboard and gpu, what problems should i expect while launching the pc? will the pc not be able to launch due to the motherboard or will it just work like normal? also, i will have to download the new components drivers right? i asked my friend at school, and he said it should just run fine even with the new components. thanks!

Solution
Depends on the version of windows. If it's the retail version then you will probably need to reactivate it though I would recommend reinstalling windows. If it's the OEM copy it will probably give you a warning and disable areo for switching motherboards. You may need to call Microsoft and get them to give you a new key. That's no fun.
