For both of these builds you use the 500GB SSD for the OS and applications and then you have the 2TB SSD for all the games. Also due to the money saved by avoiding Intel you are able to have a 2080 Super in both builds.

Solution
It isn't even that difficult to fit a 2080Ti into the budget.

Thank you very much for your advice Jeremy. I will definitely reevaluate what im going to buy. I might consider going with AMD instead.
The difference in gaming performance between the 3700X & 9900KF is about 5% with a 2080Ti, with the 9900KF being faster. However, the 3700X is faster in most other applications. Also of note is that the 3700X is almost as fast as the 9900KF all while using 1/3 the power.

Hej Anders3650! Since you mentioned the Komplett edition of that cooler I assume you are either Norwegian or Swedish. If so you will not be able to take advantage of those good American Amazon or newegg prices. Here in Sweden prices for parts are generally considerably higher due to high taxes and weak currency against the Dollar and Euro. If your demand for a computer is not immediate it might be worthwhile waiting for some Black Friday deals coming out in late November. Also the UK or German version of Amazon sometimes have deals that are good for us here in Sweden! Regarding that Komplett edition cooler that one is discontinued and no longer available on Komplett.

Regarding going with Intel, that plattform is end of the road and it is true the 9900K offers better gaming performance but mostly when paired with a high end GPU like 2080TI and when gaming in 1080P at high frequency. Otherwise you will not notice the difference if you opt for a AMD Ryzen 3000 system. 3700X is a great 8 core 16 thread CPU and the 6 core 12 thread 3600 at 2349 SEK is also a great choice with only slightly less performance in games compared to the 3700X and yet is 1500 SEK cheaper. In general for 1440P gaming it is better to pair a higher end GPU with a 3600 then a lower end GPU and 3700X given a certain budget. That is better value for money.

Thanks for the reply Joakim I was thinking the same thing that their prices might be lower. Here is a link to the PC i'm thinking about buying https://www.komplett.dk/product/114...0-core-i9-edition?offerId=KOMPLETT-321-11465# . It's in danish but I think you will understand. It's priced at 15.000kr and discounted by 5000kr so i'm thinking this is a pretty good offer.

If you live in Denmark that is a great deal!(keep in mind though that it comes with the version of the 9900K without integrated GPU so no quick sync support which some think is important for quick video rendering) But not if you are in Sweden since that is almost 22000 SEK and you can get better for that money here. If you are in Sweden I put together this list at Prisjakt that I think you will like for a similar price: https://classic.prisjakt.nu/list.php?l=3922350&view=o But this you have to build yourself do not know if you are up for that?
