I recently built myself a new PC, the specs are: Seasonic S12 500 watt power supply, AMD 3800+ dual core processor, Asus AIlife A8N Deluxe SLI mobo, 2gb OCZ DDR400 Ram, and dual EVGA 7900 GT KOs. I'm having this problem. Whenever I start a game, it goes all blurry and shakey. I can't seem to fix it, and I'm really startign to get annoyed. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advanced!

You are so far out of my league it's not even funny.

The only thing I can suggest to you since the cards are eVGA is try their site, they have a decent help forum, and if you're in the US they do have a toll free number for free tech support.

I did, all they said was "Install teh latest drivers from our site!", but the download is broken, so I got teh EVGA drivers off a different site. I'll post in their froums though. Thanks.

Get drivers from the nVidia site, not evga. I've been to the forum there because I have been having some problems with my FX5500 256mb - which may just be my computer being old. But many people have had problems with drivers from the evga site. Who knows why? Oh and d/l Driver Cleaner Pro. You'll need that for making sure the old drivers are completely gone before installing new ones. That I have experience with now.

As puternoob said get the drivers from the nvdia site. the ones that the manufacterors carry are almost always outdated. While you're at it you might as well download the chipset drivers too.

What type of monitor are you using?
What is the game that's giving you probs?

The reason I asked about the monitor is that if the monitor is an LCD and the game is not running in the monitors native resolution the pic ends up blurry.

good luck

A 500W PS may be pushing the limit for what you need.

Unlikely, the Seasonic S12 500 is capable of delivering 396w on the 12v rails.

An Athlon 64 X2 3800+ consumes about 65w, and a X2 4800+ consumes about 96w. Assume he OC'ed his X2 3800+ to the speed of the 4800+. That means 96w for the CPU.

The nVidia 7800GT consumes about 56w, and the 7800GTX 256mb consumes 81w. Assume he overclocked his 7900GT to equal the 7800GTX in power consumption. That menas 162 for two 7900GTs.

That comes out to a high estimate 258w, or about 65% of the Seasonic's total output on the 12v rails. I find it very unlikely that the rest of his components will be over 140w of power to push the PSU over it's limit.
