Hey guys, I recently bought my first gaming PC and built it myself. Everything went fine but when getting HWMonitor I noticed that my CPU was at around 45-55 degrees celsius on a fresh windows install and no programs open...is that normal? It still stays like that when doing tasks like googling, installing stuff etc. but then I decided ti play some fortnite and I looked at the end how much my CPU had reached while playing, and it reached 82 degrees :/ Is that bad? It's a completely new build, no reused parts. The CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700x running with the stock cooler. Also when cleaning the paste from the CPU the first time ( had some troubles wih the pc that arent worth mentioning ) I accidentaly didnt notice that I got some paste on my finger.
And also retarded me didnt clean it inside the socket but in my hands. Some paste slipped on the pins but I cleaned it 2 days in a row with a tooth brush and smaller brush that I had for my braces which fir perfectly there and I managed to get all the paste, though the pins remained colored a bit brownish because of the pastes color, can that be the problem? I read that I should clean it with alcohol? Its pretty hard to get it here where im living, basically no source for pure 90% alcohol, I only got a 70% bottle from another country. Would that work?

I got 3 front ones taking air in, and the back one getting it out, thats exactly how the casr came. Its a Aerocool Quartz RGB case, also got a strix 1070ti with 3 fans if that makes a difference. The case is cable managed asf, no Spaghetti and barely can der the wires and they dont cover any fan

You could try running a stress test and see how hot it will get. If it's just low 80's it's fine and likely what most people would get (I'm assuming). The hot air from your gpu is going up to your cpu. So you might want to try another exhaust fan up top, to get it out faster. You could try opening the side of your case. If the temps drop a good amount, it's a sign you need better air flow. With 4 fans already it should be pretty good though.

Basically I never ended putting the glas panel on, so the case has been open for the past 2 days while gaming and idling getting these temps, so these temps arent even in a full closes case

Yes I reapplied paste in the size of 2 rice pieces , about that size. Maybe a bit smaller
