Question new pc, high ping/ms when playing games

I am hardwired, and had no issues on my previous computer, but every game I play online I just lag all over the place, and for example on WoW I was getting 2k+ ms.
Any ideas? I have checked my process' on resource monitor, and my ms on CMD, but everything is low..
