BOSGAME P2 Lite Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, Intel i5-12600H, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD

I bought the above PC recently, and have from the outset experienced a juddery display on occasion (it does not happen often, and lasts a minute or so). This applies to the whole display, whether it's using Chrome, watching video, using File Explorer etc. It's as though there's insufficient system resources, but there's actually little demand being put on the PC at the time.

The display driver is the latest, and has been updated twice.

In addition, when connecting to this PC from other PCs or mobile phone using Chrome Remote Desktop, the screen flashes & beeps, making it impossible to use.

Windows Memory Diagnostic and Intel Processor Diagnostic tools do not show any issues.

I've disabled graphics acceleration in Chrome, but this does not help with the Remote Desktop issue.

p.s. there is just basic software installed - I'm just using the PC as a media PC connected to a large TV.

pps I've changed the HDMI cable, and plugged it into a different HDMI port on the TV. Two other PCs connected to the TV do not have these issues.

update BIOS
I somehow convinced myself that it couldn't be BIOS related, although I was aware that there could well be an available update as per the manufacturer's website.

The model is definitely a P2, so I downloaded the corresponding BIOS files. I unzipped it, and double clicked f.bat.

I get the message that "ROM file information does not match system BIOS error", which makes it look like I've downloaded the files for the wrong model - but it's defo a P2.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

might be a different P2. yours is the p2 lite
there is a fpt.bat as well you could try
would RMA it
The thing is, in the drivers section it is "P2/P2 lite", but just "P2" under BIOS.

fpt.bat - nothing happens basically.

I was wondering what computer thing RMA is, but I see it's basically about returning an item (an American term?!).

I bought from Amazon, so easy enough to return. Thanks!
