So I built a PC for my brother a few days ago and here's what happened, started the PC up and it ran for about a minute with no display then just crashed. Wouldn't turn on at all after that. I tested the PSU with a multimeter and everything was right according to the video I watched. Hooked the PC up earlier and the GPU, CPU, and case fans would spin briefly without me pressing the power button, but the PC still won't turn on. All plugs are connected. Also this is the same exact build I use for my PC and I haven't had a single issue with mine yet, and I've had it for a year now.
Specs are
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card
MOBO: asrock h97m pro4 micro atx lga1150
PSU: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Solution
If you can try with another psu.Not saying that the multimeter is wrong, but the psu might give other readings when under load.

Yeah I've done all that, I've heard the psu isn't great but it's ran perfectly for me for nearly a year. With the same build. The mobo had been sitting in his closet, unopened, for about 6 months though. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I'm going to pick up one tomorrow and see if it works. Will get back with results tomorrow.

Yeah probably going to do that in a bit and see what happens.

Well good news pc powers up now, new issue though. The DGPU gets stuck on blank screens after installing drivers. I made a new thread for it with details.

Well at least that ossue is out of the way.Tried both to see if the CX was wrong? Just being curious.

You want to close this thread and focus on that one? If you want my input link it here will you? Probable that others are already into that one.
