You should've looked into a 1.2KW or higher PSU when you were going for the RTX4090FE.

Seems like Asus released a BIOS version;
make sure you've updated it if you're not on version 0703.

Hey thanks for reply, I didn’t change psu yet because the latest ones haven’t been released and when they do I can only seem to see 1000w versions, I did update my bios yesterday still the same problem it’s mainly with call of duty just hopped on a game then first 10 minutes full froze so had to manual restart

Hi everyone, am sorry for having some limited experience here about the freezing problem. Please bear in mind that I am new in putting such a computer together. Last time I did it, it was 2016 and a lot has changed since then. I normally avoid putting all the hardware here, but things are just crazy right now with figuring this out. The computer only lasts for about 10 to 20 minutes before freezing. I do not use XMP because it has 4 ram slots used and XMP is failing with 4 and only lasts 30 seconds before freezing, but if I put 2 ram sticks or disable XMP it works for the 10 to 20 minutes mentioned before, which is where I am right now. So XMP is disabled for the moment, but this is not the issue. The issue is the freezing part after 10 to 20 minutes. Sometimes even 5 minutes. So if this helps, I am putting a hell of a lot of information so I try to not miss anything for anyone that can help me understand the freezing issue:

OS: Ubuntu 22.10 or Windows 11

At first I thought it might be Ubuntu 22.10, so I tested with Windows 11 (Latest as of today) and the freeze happens at around the same time: 10 to 20 minutes. Multiple tests, at the end I left the Asus BIOS everything in Auto (Default settings). Do note asI mentioned, this is my first time assembling a PC since 2016, so I learned of a LOT of things that have changed and I hope ordering the cables and how it looks has no problems either, so I am attaching a group of pictures of it on this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/18qQLjYVoX8OwNGnLPtZqAI67P0k58bvd/view?usp=share_link hopefully to help, just in case someone sees something wrong.

During the time it works, games play great with very high FPS (Both Windows and Ubuntu have very similar FPS) (Until the 10-20 minute mark). This happens when playing games, or simply in the desktop doing nothing. Thank you again, and sorry for so many links and stuff, just making sure I can give as much information as possible in helping figure this out together.
