I just put together a new pc and need a new display. I thought I read about a good website to filter down choices but can’t find that thread. Can someone point it out please or give me suggestions?

In the USA and looking for a gaming monitor (including FPS). I need a new desk as well but am concerned about having to sit too close so a 27” at 1440p is most likely with 1ms response. New computer has 9800 x3d and 5070Ti, so G-sync would be good. Built in speakers ideally. I don’t understand anything about panel types.

  • Screen Shape: flat
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
  • Size: 27”
  • Resolution: 1440p
  • Panel Type: no idea
  • Refresh Rate: 144Hz or higher
  • Response time: 1ms

thanks. Such a huge difference in price with my criteria. Is the biggest driver of the difference the panel type? If so what type should I look at? I know OLED is supposed to be better either way blacks but there’s so many now it’s confusing. Any manufacturers to stay away from?

No one answering but I figured out a few more things. I'm thinking about this one: MSI MPG 271QRX (Amazon reviews). However, Adaptive-Sync is supported on both FreeSync and G-Sync platforms, but it has not been certified by Nvidia. Can someone explain that and tell me if that's a problem with my 5070 Ti please?
