MOB:Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE
PSU: Corsair RM650x 650W PSU
GPU: Gigabyte rtx 2060
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

So i built my first computer and after having turned it on, everything worked well. I then ran a stress test and noticed that the GPU temp reached around 88-90. I then opened the case and observed again during the stress test and noticed that the fans wouldnt spin at all. I have also installed MSI afterburner to try to set fan speed but no luck. Any sugestions?

All drives are up to date and so is windows.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Which version of Windows 10 are you currently on? If this is a new install with no critical data onboard the installation drive, you might want to reinstall your OS, after you've created the bootable installer using Windows Media Creation Tools.

Also, can you get into BIOS? If so, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for the motherbaord.

Next try and use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers and manually download from Nvidia's support site and install the drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

As a sideline to Lutfij's answer, have you tried to manually flick the fans into motion. I had a new card once and the fans seemed quite tight (to turn) at first, the motors weren't able to get started, but once in motion they were okay. After a while they loosened up. If even with help they refuse to spin then I would be a little concerned, but give the driver solution a go ...
