I just finished my brand new build today, started it up and everything starts up nice and fast, GPU logo lights up and fans spin on it, but no signal onto monitor. another odd thing is that when I disconnect my GPU, the PC boots and I can enter the BIOS. here is my complete parts list:

[PCPartPicker part list](http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/twdGwP) / [Price breakdown by merchant](http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/twdGwP/by_merchant/)

ive tried reconnecting the GPU multiple times, reconnecting RAM, checking all connection, trying to use 2 PCI-E connectors instead of 1 . . . and at this point kinda out of ideas

one cable has 2x 8pins. So I tried using an 8pin and a 6pin from the SAME cable, then I tried using an 8pin from cable and a 6pin from a different cable = no result

I connected the monitor to the VGA port on the back of the card which protrudes from the case = no signal

but when I disconnect my GPU and use onboard (just disconnected it from power or removed it from MOBO completely) the PC boots up just fine and I have even installed OS and started setting up drivers . . . just no GPU

*** but there is no post from the MOBO. no beeps or anything *** not sure why but everything but the GPU seems to be working
