Question New PC not recognizing gpu. Shows as (Intel UHD 630) instead of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 installed.

Not sure what to do this is my first PC (Built it two days ago) under Device Manager --> Display adapters it says the intel UHD 630 as well instead of the GPU installed. I tried to run a benchmark and only got 8 fps. This is the first and only GPU installed into the motherboard. Why is it recognizing a random GPU instead and what can I do to fix it?

Is your monitor connected to the GPU , and not to a connector on the mobo ?

Not sure what you mean but the HDMI is connected to the IO shield so the motherboard I guess

Yes. You have to connect to the GPU

I feel dumb lol, thank you so much. After plugging it in I had to disable the iGPU and install the drivers for my GPU and it recognized it. About to run a benchmark to see if it's all good.
