Hi my name is Uwais.

I am from India and have recenlty built as new pc.
The specs are as follows

Mobo : gigabytes h110m s2 ddr4
cpu : i3 6098p
Ram : corsair vengeance ddr4 8gb 1 stick.
Gpu : i got as 1 month used gtx 1060 6gb msi for cheap with warranty.
psu : corsair cx 550
hdd : currently 1 samsung 750 ssd 128gb , 1 brand new seagate 1tb hdd , 1 used wd green 500 gbp hdd from old pc.

Now coming to my problem.
Ever since i byilt this pc i started having random restart after around 1 week. At that time i was having only my old wd green 500gb hdd on which windows 10 pro was installed. In the first few days i was having very rare random restarts like just 1 in 2 or 3 days so i didnt notice it that much.
The following week it started increasing to 2 or some times more reeboots continuosly one after the other. Then i called some guy who told me thats its hdd problem. SO i bought a new hdd and a ssd for my pc.
Installed winddows 10 prp on ssd formatted all hdds and then it looked like issue was resolved for 2 days. When suddenly 1 day when i turned on the system and left it for a minute or so it just rebooted. Since then the issue still persists and is very random sometimes it happens 3 or 4 times continuosly and sometims it never happens even once no matter how long i game.

I checked all temps at all times and at full load everything looks normal with gpu at 76 max and cpu at 55-65.
At idle they are both at mid 30s.
Sometimes i can game straight for long hours widout any problem and sometimes just basic stuff like browsing or just booting on or just leaving it idle causes it to reboot.

I hav also seen many times that while leaving it idle to install updates or intall some items it happens mor times especially during idle and not doing anything.

And also many random times it has happened as soon as i turn on the system it shows mobo logo and then immediately restarts. Like even befor windows loading comes on.

I am really pissed as i hav no clue wats wrong and this was my very 1st build. Windows also does not show anything.
I have no idea wat is wrong is it my mobo or ram or cpu or psu.
I can give u my psu voltage readings if u all want and also windows event manager shows all random errors and many times there is a kernel 41 random error and unexpected shut down errors.
Appart from this the system is very fast frm what i came (pentium 4) and all game give solid 60+fps.

It really pisses me off as sometimes i play fifa online 3 a lot and during a important match im going to win and suddnly when theres just 2 mins left it reboots.
The reboot is like everything turns off all fans make the sound of stopping and turning on after a sec like someone removed the power cable.

Any help would be appreciated

You must be really amazing if u read the whole rubbish that i posted just to help someone :)

Solution
...
Kaptainkuftic i tried plugging a different pc of similar specs in to same plug point and also along with my pc switched on at the same time but onnly my pc rebooted and the other one with a local power supply was just fine. IF i u say its a psu issue then what should i do cause its a brand new one just 2 months in and under warranty. How can i know if its really the psu or mobo.
Thanks for ur suggestions.

The only thing I can think of to testing those components is monitoring temps to see if anything goes well outside of normal, or find extras to replace current parts and try to isolate that way

Kaptainkuftic no i hav not run malwarebites but this is my 3rd complete clean installation of windows 10 pro from cd but i would still run if u say so
AND as far as temps go they look quite normal to me only nowadays cpu idles as 40 because its quite hot out here and also the case is pretty crap with no airflow at all.

Should i try unplugging my old wd green hdd.
I hav got only a few problems here..
1stt- The issue is so random and occurs when it wants i hav left my pc running from yesterday night and it didnt reeboot once since yesterday even at idle. Now if i switch parts by borrowing from a friend also then what if it does not do it still and does it again when it wants randomly. This is my only woorry here.
I have posted a picture of my voltage up there what do you guys think are those normal reading or should i get the psu replaced. And also for some reason i have doubt on the cpu cooler (stock) one. Is it possible that if the cooler is fauly this will happen but my temps seem to be normal only.. Thanks a lot again for ur suggestions.

in regards to malwarebytes, I'm sorry I didn't notice you mentioned they were clean installations. don't worry too much about that then

in regards to voltage, I don't know. Not really sure what healthy voltages look like, but likely defaults are fine.

taking out the WDG hard drive could help. At least, it couldn't hurt.

lastly, you need to find a way to reproduce the problem. There has to be something that is happening that causes you to reboot, so try and figure out what that is. If I don't respond, on this thread, PM me, and if we find out the answer we'll update the thread.

Next time your computer reboots, take note of what time it is. Then, hit start, type 'event viewer', hit enter, select 'windows logs', select 'system', and then look for an error that occurred around the time your computer rebooted.
