New pc upgrade suggestions

I'm looking to spend 800$ on new upgrades to my computer i need a new cpu cooler more hard disk space no need for ssd I have a corisar 300r case Nividia GeForce gtx 750 ti 2gb and a amd fx 6300 processor and a m5a97 LE 2.0 motherboard

You have a lot of upgrade space with 800$ What are you looking into? Gaming, rendering, etc?

Maybe this? You could spend maybe 75$ more for a Corsair H100i, which is a better CPU Cooler, but, I didn't want to surpass $800 -

$800 for more storage (no ssd), RAM, PSU, and a cooler? You can get all those things for under $300.
Then you could use the remaining $500 to get a high-end graphics card to replace that low-mid GTX 750ti.

Either that, or the GTX 970, which is 3.5gb + 0.5gb

I'll probably need new monitors with the card wich would make it slightly more complicated

Then go with the 970, and use the other 200$+ on a new monitor or two

The 970 would be a wise choice. To spend the entire 800 would almost be pointless.
