Question new pc with win10 how to set the basic programs for security?

hi
win10 x64
ill keep the firewall and aVirus from windows.
ithink malware byte antimalware is needed and spyware blaster .
does spyware blaster need to be exclude from MB and windows defender and does windows defender and MB need to be excluded from spyblater?
should i install other softwares or they cover up the basics?
how do i tell them to exclude each other?
i have been told to eclude

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mwac.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamchameleon.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\farflt.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae64.sys (64-bit systems only)
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae.sys (32-bit systems only)

but even logged in as
logged in admin, i cannot find



C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes



C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mwac.sys

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\farflt.sys

of course i looked down the folders..


how to find them could they just not be there?

I'd simply abandon whatever Spyware Blaster is...(as an avid enthusiast/study of all things/bits of software malware-related for 7 years or more, I think I'd at least have heard of a product if it were worth anything) I'd certainly be shocked if Malwarebytes did not find something actually nefarious that existed and this unknown Blaster found it)

Malwarebytes will be where ever you installed it to at time of installation...if it was installed.

The default location would indeed normally be c:/program data/malwarebytes (no certainty that is where you installed it, however)

(If you want a second opinion scanner, you can always scan with Hitman Pro64 or Roguekiller 64....)

WIndows Security scans are not going to detect Malwarebytes Antimalware as hostile, so you need not worry about those particular exclusions...

hi yes this is why im trying to exsclude those file folders someone told me to but amond them there are some i can t find?

In my opinion I would get rid of both programs. Windows Defender is more than powerful enough to protect your computer and Malwarebytes is just another program taking up space on your PC, or if you pay for it, taking money out of your pocket to do the same job (some argue that its even worse) as Windows Defender.
