New PC Wont Start

Hi, I just built my new pc and it wont start. I am pretty sure that I connected everything correctly, and could not find any broken pins. When I turn it on, the mobo light and case light flashed, but would not turn on. One time, I got my CPU fan to run for a few seconds. As of now I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this? An guesses on what I did wrong? Could it be a piece that doesn't work? Anything will help. Thanks!

Sounds crazy but make sure your CPU power 4 pin cable is connected to the mother board!

As well as every other essential start up cable.

If that doesn't work I'd rip it down to the bare bones and look for any video output. Do you get any beeps? Do you know if it passes POST TEST?
