New Pentium G4560 has display issues WITHOUT Gpu

Recently I upgraded my HTPC with this new Kaby-Lake processor hoping it would breathe new life into it as i was previously using an AMD E-350 due to its low power consumption (This is a system that i like to leave on 24/7).
After letting Windows detect the new parts and update accordingly i restarted the system. Upon Restart the display didn't receive any signal (No POST). I used the reset switch to try again and it worked fine. I figured it was just a hiccup, but it turns out that if the system turns of the display after some time or restarts to install updates or anything it doesn't post upon resume or restart. AsRock's website didn't have any useful drivers or anything so I went without them and the Computer won't detect my external DVD drive or wireless keyboard either. I'm at a bit of a loss as to why this would occur. If anyone else has had this issue please let me now how you fixed it.

Update: I have not tried adding a Gpu to the system as I don't feel it needs one.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
MOBO: AsRock H110M-ITX
RAM: Avexir 4Gb LED 2400Mhz DDR4
PSU: EVGA 400w
Case: Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced

Solution
I had similar problem with an ASRock motherboard on a new build, posted fine if reset or shut down & restarted, but no post after a Windows restart. Very annoying when a software install requires a restart.

Updating the BIOS fixed it, even though no BIOS updates on their website mentioned anything about that problem.

Despite that, I took a gamble and 'hey presto', problem fixed.

Hope it works for you.

Have you installed the motherboard drivers and the graphics driver. Is it a clean install of windows?

It did boot and recognized the new cpu. On restarts it does not post and if display goes to sleep it doesn't wake again. Other than that it works fine.

If you get a display and got to windows the the BIOS is not the issue.
The reason for that comment was because you have an H110 which did not originally come with a BIOS that supported kabby lake CPUs, you must have a newer one that came from the factory with the newer BIOS on it.

WIndows is not going to be stable (or even run at all) if you did not do a full reinstall after switching from AMD to Intel. You are going to have to wipe and reinstall.
