As title says, how do we feel about this kit? I'm interested as I have 0 loop experience, rather have something quick and painless with minimal stress about a cut O-Ring. The price is great compared to EKWB, and Corsairs kits. I'm not too familiar with sharkbite fittings however, I know they're not popular in plumbing but thats about all I know. I just got a new AIO, but nowwww I'm wondering if I return it and gamble with the early adopters risk lol.

I saw a video of it after it was suggested to me by YT;

I feel like they are a step better than EKWB, especially after the fiasco of not paying their employees.

I would ofc, ask you to read into the watercooling sticky before you dive into the world of custom watercooling.

What is the make and model of your case and your CPU/GPU?
Been reading tons about it cooling over the past year, cpu is a 14700k and current card is a a Gigabyte 4090OC, but I'm moving into a 5090. So to start for me I'm simply going to just cool the CPU until 5090s come about and expand. Computex was the only thing that stopped me from buying before, I liked EKWB ZMT tubing but then I saw this new style of fitting from Phanteks, and EKWB's NeXe stuff so I held off. I like the idea of something user friendly, no hassle of fittings/rings etc...

Price wise is where Phanteks is winning pretty hard, 399 for the kit I need , vs 600$+ for an EKWB set up. Just a little sweaty from the typical early adopter's tax.... there is one good youtube video on the Phanteks kit, and lack of a drain valve in their current kit is kinda disappointing, I'm sure its in development though. I know I could cut cost using Bysky/Alphacool etc... but simplicity is where I'm kinda reeled in right now.

I've invested in EKWB gear in the past but after the video by GamersNexus on EKWB failing to meet their employees payments steered me clear of them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone even if they paid me to say something.

I miss the days where people mixed and matched components to get their watercooling builds moving forward. There were a plethora of brands out there and you hand picked what went with your build's aesthetics, performance goals or overall brand loyalties.

Here's one when I started out;

Thanks for the feedback, I guess I'll suck it up and just do it the right way lol. Isn't like my loop is complicated but saw a small opportunity to be a little lazy and try the new stuff lol.
