Hey guys,

I am building a PC for my brother in law in the next couple of weeks, and I would like some opinions on my build ideas.

Let me know what you think if something needs to be changed or added. Please no Intel or AMD fanboy arguments. I use an AMD, so I picked an AMD, but I am fully willing to look at other options.

Budget = $3,000

I appreciate the help. Thanks!

I changed your CPU to an intel based CPU, and also the motherboard to a Z97 overclockable board. I also replaced your 32 gigs of RAM with 16. Unless he's doing major video editing or rendering, 16 should be more than enough. I included a WD Black 2TB instead of the one you chose, it has better reliability, and still has good performance. I replaced the single 780TI with dual R9 290X's, which will have much more performance than just the single card. I also replaced the Corsair supply with a more reliable XFX 1050W, which will be more than enough wattage for major overclocking.

I kept your case selection, I love the R4! Especially in Titanium with the window! (go take a look at it)
