[SOLVED] New power supply fits into case, but plug and fan are blocked

I recently got a new PC and a more powerful PSU for it. The supply is the exact same size as the old one, and can be screwed in. But the case is blocking the plug. Also, the fan is against the case and won't ventilate.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I get the wrong PSU? Should I cut the case with pliers?

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Is your power supply mounted in the top if so you have it upside down.
