Question New processor help!

I’m building a new computer and I am curious if I should wait for the new Intel processor or if I should go ahead and get one of the Ryzen 3000 series. Probably the 24 thread.

If you want a 12 core i would wait for the Intel 10x series HEDT

Most signs lead to Intel's next generation of desktop CPUs being 14mn and not too different from the 9th generation.

It is unlikely Intel's next-generation desktop CPUs will bring over 10 cores. So you will have to look to Ryzen 3000, Threadripper, or Intel's HEDT for 12 cores.

What are you using the CPU for and budget dictates the best choice.........

The existing 12 core RYzen 3900X is a quite compelling value if one needs 12 cores and 24 threads....; it will not be 'slow' at anything.....

Get it.

(Might Intel's upcoming 10 and 12 core offerings be 5-10 fps/3-5% faster..at gaming...for only $300-$400 extra dollars? Perhaps...)
