Hi everyone!
I have a question. I am planning on getting a rx 480 when it comes out and was wondering if its worth buying a new psu(Evga gq 650 watts) since i have the money. Right now i have a Cooler master B 500 watt psu and i think i could run my system(including rx 480) on this psu, but people always tell me to upgrade my psu. So is it worth swapping the psu out for GQ 650 or should i save my cm psu and upgrade my CPU instead?

My system:
Amd fx 6300
8 gb ddr3
Msi geforce gtx 750
Asus m5a97r2.0
Cm B500 watt psu
250 gb ss
320gb hdd

Solution
Its always worth swapping out a mediocre or low quality unit like the b500 for that evga model.
Ultimately though your current PSU WILL run a 480 spec wise, if you're on a tight budget.
Thank you, i will be able to get the evga psu without a problem. The rx480 will be a birthday gift😀 But i am intersted in a 8350 or 8320... But if the psu is worth upgrading i will do it.
