[SOLVED] New PSU has Single or Multi 12V toggle switch?

The HX850 I ordered has arrived and first thing I notice is on the back, there is a toggle switch for "Single" or "Multi" 12 volt. This is the first time I have seen that. How do I know what I need to set that toggle switch to in my new build?

Looked at some other thread about the same question and it appears it doesn't really matter what it is set to, so unless this IS important and I need to know, then just forget I asked 😉

This just sets the current limit applied to each cable. If you set it to single, then it will only trigger over current protection when the sum of all the current draw exceeds the 12V rating, plus some wiggle room.

On multi it basically will trip over current protection earlier on a per cable basis.
