Hey guys/girls just can't find a solution to my problem: New PSU doesn't POST but on the odd occasion it does and boots to desktop...for like 2 minutes then it shut downs. Thinking the new PSU was at fault, I tried my old PSU and now that doesn't boot at all. I've tried swapping out the the 660 with an old 460 I have but the results are pretty much the same. I've got a feeling that the Corsair was DOA and has broken something whenever I turned it on as whenever the system shut downs a loud click comes from the Corsair PSU. Any advise would be appreciated.

Old PSU: Antec HCG520
New PSU: Corsair RM750

System Config-
CPU: AMD FX 8350 stock
GPU: GTX 660
RAM: 8GB (4GB*2)
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Sound Card: ASUS XONAR DG
Satellite Card: Generic 2 feed DVB-S2
Drives: 128GB Kingston SSD
3TB WD Green
2TB Seagate (low RPM)
Samsung 5.25" DVD Drive
Monitor: Samsung 32" 1080p TV

Thermals for everything was okay, including the the CPU before the new PSU. :??:

Thanks for the quick reply, I will do cheers mate. Damn Corsair!

Do you think it has wrecked my motherboard? Sorry if that's a quite generic question.

It is possible. A bad PSU can fry anything in a PC. It it probably not super likely, but it's definitely possible.

RAM could be toast.

Using the Antec, and the gtx660, try to get it to boot using each RAM stick individually.
