New ram and old ram doesnt work

Hello everyone.
First of all i want to apologize if my english are not that good
So i got a new 4gb(2x2)ram double channel (Mushkin Essentials 4GB DDR3-1333MHz ) because my pc had only 2gb of ram and they were not enough for me.
I placed them carefully on the motherboard then when i started my pc nothing showed up on my screen and the pc did unstoppable "beeps".
After that i plugged my old ram again and same thing happend again
Someone find me a solution please i dont know what causes this but i need my pc fixed asap.

Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-880gm-d2h
CPU:Amd athlon x4 640
GPU:Nvidia gts 450
New Ram:Mushkin Essentials 4GB DDR3-1333MHz

just to make clear, the old RAM is not working as well ?
If so try the following:
Turn off the computer, disconnect the power, press the power button few times (to discharge the capacitors), install only old RAM, turn on the computer.
If the above does not help, reset the bios.
