HI everyone

Please Help. i bought a new memory online and bought what i thought was a good memory
Trident 8gb RGB 3200mhz to uprage my computer. it just arrived today and when i installed it, it caused a boot loop when loading windows repair. Msi just shows preparing to repair sign before turn off and rebooting again.

my rig
Ryzen 5
a350 msi vh plus motherboard
gtx 1060 3g
8gb 2400 crucial
2tb western digital

any info on how to fix it. I used Xmp as per a fellow dorm mate but it still won't boot but when I use them both one by one its ok just both?. any way to fix it to get my 16gb?

Thank you.

Solution
They are probably just not compatible with each other. That happens a lot when mixing and matching RAM. Things to try: Reset CMOS/BIOS between changes and try changing their places, faster one in the first slot.

how to check which slot is the first? the one nearest to the cooler?

i tried it both at one on one and at dual still the same disabled xmp as well now running at 2133mhz

yes when i check my bios the auto setting without xmp for both of them is 2133. i tried them with and without xmp profiles 1/2 and still wont work still the same loop unless i use only one stick. i tried my friends 3000mhz 4gb crucial and works fine with either set. i dont know what to do now 🙁 should i go for a refund? or just use the higher one 3200mhz trident? or have it changed to another same 2400 stick? but my friend said i should go for those with 2 sticks as a pack?
