Question New ram doesn’t work?

So i just upgraded from 8GB 2800mhz to 16gb 3200mhz. but when i put my new ram in it is just a black screen and nothing is happening. I checked and thought my motherboard supports it so i don’t know what’s wrong.

my motherboard is MSI B350m gaming pro
my new ram is XPG Gammix D10 3200mhz PC4-25600

i did that and got into my bios but now it just keeps turning on and off

Is your new ram a single kit ?
Or an additional stick??
Ram must be matched.
Even the identical part number does not guarantee a match.,
