Hi guys !

I recently increased my ram from 2x4GB (Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz) to 2x8GB (Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHz).
And for some reason everything is just slower? I can't even load up discord or a simple game without waiting for 30mins or the game not even being able to connect.
I've also checked that my RAM speed is going at 1600MHz, is this normal?
I've tried overclocking my ram only for it to shut down 2 mins after powering up. I cant seem to go past 1.2V for the DRAM.

Other info:
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200
Motherboard: ASRock A320M-DGS

Thats my bad, I read that post too early in the morning.

Did you disable XMP before removing the RAM, the enable the new XMP profile for your new RAM?

So before the xmp was just on auto, and when I put in the new RAM it was still on auto.
When I tried increasing the frequency even a little bit for the new RAM it went above 1.2V (about 1.35V) and for some reason the pc wouldn't last even 5 mins after turning on.

The 1600 is correct you need to go x2 for double data rate.
Leave the voltage to whatever xmp sets it to.

So - does it run normally with XMP disabled?

Try overclocking ram manually.
Set DDR voltage to 1.35V
Latencies - 16-18-18-36
Command Rate - 1T

Set DRAM frequency to 2133mhz, test
Increase DRAM frequency and test after each step - 2400,2666,2800,2933,3000,3200mhz.
When test fails, then return to previous settings that worked.

2666mhz should be achievable, possibly 2933mhz also.

When like the xmp settings are off it's running really slow.
Then when I tried increasing the DRAM frequency to 2133, the DRAM voltage automatically goes up to 1.35, the pc colours this red, not sure if this is normal? After 25 mins the pc just shuts down by itself.

As mentioned do check the temps.

You might want to visit the mobo site and update your bios and the rest of the mobo drivers.
Looks like your way behind.

my motherboard isn't compatible with the new updates and that's why I haven't updated the drivers, does this mean I should get a new motherboard ?

Yeah, just now - it's extremely high at 95 degrees (celsius)
How do I cool down my CPU ??

That's extremely high temperature for a CPU. If you continue to use it in this condition then it might cause damage to the CPU. There are a lot of reasons for this problem. Make sure the RAM sticks are compatible with the Motherboard. Try adjusting the RAM speed. Make sure the CPU fan is spinning properly. If not, try a new CPU cooler. I recommend using an AIO.
