I Recently purchased 2 new RAM modules to bring my PC from 16gb to 32.
Both new and old RAM sets are Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 LED Desktop Memory,
I'm running a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Elite with an Intel Core i7-9700K.
Original modules were in A2 and B2, new modules were in A1 and B1.
In this configuration only the LED on B1 and B2 are lit up and seem to function while A1 and A2 aren't lit up.
My PC also shows 32gb installed but only 13gb of usable ram.
I also tested one new module with one old module in A2 and B2 and they seem to functions normally together and I tested my pc
with only the new modules which also both seem to work.
I don't think its a compatibility issue between the modules though I could be wrong.
I don't have a dead module. I updated my bios and no changes.
On first boot up all the modules were lit up and seemed to be working until windows loaded.
Any help is welcome.
