Hi all, I recently got some new ram for my computer due to having some serious lag when working in both Photoshop and Premiere. My computer works fine with the new ram, but it only runs at 2666mhz and the ram is rated at 4400mhz. When I go into bios and try to run the X.M.P. profile 1(there is only 1 xmp profile available) which is set for 4400mhz, timing 19-26-26-46, and 1.50v, my computer goes on a boot cycle. It will do this continuously for about 5 min or so, until my bios comes up on its own at ask me to boot from default settings. According to Gigabyte my motherboard is capable of running up to 4400mhz ddr4. I'm curious if anyone knows why my motherboard wont allow me to run ram at this speed? thanks all
Also, I have tried manually setting the speed, timing and volts , with the same results.
