New ram, no startup

Everything works when I install one stick of memory (4gb) it works fine, it starts up windows, I can play games,and everything works normal. But when I put the second stick of memory (I bought them from the same company, they came together) then turn on the computer the fans turn on, but the monitor dosnt detect the computer once I have 2 ram sticks installed. ( I have a H97M-E motherboard)

Maybe your motherboard doesn't support more than 4 GB, have you checked?

Did you try the sticks in multiple slots?

There are 4 slots, and it supports 32 gb of Ram

With one stick install, can you go into bios and see if it running at 1333 or 1600? if not 1600, turn on the XMP profile, then try it will both stick

Or it might be that the ram stick is broken because when I try to use one of them alone the computer keeps restarting, but with the other ram stick it works fine
