I bought two stick the retailer told me its 3733 mhz. I am trying to set up XMP profile that supports 3600 mhz on my MSI gaming pro x470 mobo.
any more than 2933 mhz will boot up my pc with 3 beeps then restore to default.
Bios is up to date from the 2/3/2021.
Mobo supports those rams mhz according to msi website.
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x
two 16GB dual channel kingston Fury.

try 2 ram in slot 2 and 4, then try again. Usually Zen+ cpu couldn't go above 3433MHz at best, 3600mhz is somthing that is really amazing for both your cpu and motherboard. Pre Zen2 CPUs didn't like 4 sticks of ram and anything...

Can I set xmp that is not 3600mhz? or if it says there that proflies are 3600 and 3733 it means it can use those frequencies?

Try it.

If it doesn't work then set ram settings manually.
DDR voltage 1.35V
Command rate 1T
Latency settings 19-23-23-42
Start with 2933mhz, test it, increase, test again and repeat until doesn't work anymore ( 3000,3200,3400,3600,3733).
Then go back to previous settings, that worked.

I would load the xmp profile for 3600 and then manually set the frequency lower I would say almost all 2000 series chips should handle 3200 and most 3400ish. You might have to bump up your SOC voltage a bit to get your integrated memory controller to come in line. I have a 2600x and had to Set SOC voltage to 1.1v to reach 3400, but I've been unable to get any higher frequency to run stable. If you really want to start messing around with timings and voltages, you should download Thaiphoon burner and Dram Calculator to find the best settings, but the quick loading of xmp-3600 and lowering frequency until you find what works would be quick, but most likely not the most optimized solution.
