Hello everyone!

I just bought an RTX 3080 that refuses to work properly. The LED lights turn on but the fans do not start and my monitor says "DP no signal". I know there is nothing wrong with my monitor because it works fine with my old GTX 1080 Ti.

The manual for the RTX 3080 says it needs a 6-pin and an 8-pin PCIe which I have put. My Cooler Master is 750 watts.

I'm a total noob to this so please help!

I've attached some pics.

Coolermaster is the brand of the PSU while 750W is the advertised wattage for the unit. What is the model of the unit? How old is the PSU in your build at this point of time?

I need a 6 pin and an 8 pin PCI
Are they daisychained to the GPU? You should follow this guide;

Got a link to the card?

Haven't known a card that had a power plug as optional. In case with this picture, the 8pin on the right.

Can you provide graphics card model and manual you looked at please. Id like to learn something :)

Think im pretty sure, could be wrong, that card requires all power cables connected.

Correct, they do need that. The 8-pin plug needs to be connected as well. Was so distracted by the dust I didn't notice that apparently, lol...
