Got a new RTX2070, playing Warzone, the game freezes badly for a few seconds regularly, makes it unplayable. Runs at 60+ FPS aside from this. Never had this problem on my old GTX970, would only run at 30-40FPS but wouldn't drop. Drivers all up to date, CPU not bottle necking. What could it be?

Specs are:

Asrock Z87 Extreme6
Intel Core i7 4770k @3.5GHz
Gigabyte RTX2070 Super
Corsair XMS3 8GB RAM
Samsung EVO 128gb SSD
WD 1TB 7200RPM HDD
Corsair CX600 PSU
Corsair H100i Hydro cooler
Samsung 34" Ultrawide Monitor 1440p

Thanks.

8gb RAM and the game being installed on a HDD, that’s the problem. Monitor your RAM and HDD usage, I expect very high RAM usage and a HDD that’s nearly always at 100% while in game.
Thank you all for your input.
Found out what the problem was if anyone is interested, the problem stems from insufficient RAM (8gb just doesn't quite cut it), but the reason it was so bad was because, instead of using my SSD to overload RAM onto, it was set to use an older, slower HDD as RAM... changed it to the SSD and it's now much more playable. Also got more RAM on the way which should cure it.

Case dismissed!
