[SOLVED] New RX5500 XT vs Used 980Ti FE ?

Please help me decide which one of these GPUs I should buy.
The 980Ti crushes the 5500XT in terms of performance but it is almost 8 years old and I am afraid that it might die soon.
Which one should I go for? Both are approximately same price 190$ 980ti vs 170$ 5500XT. The 5500XT is the 8GB model btw.

Its used. Some 2 to 3 years used.

Let's say the card has been used for 3 years max, and the VRMs + capacitors are in good shape, you still have to clean and repasted the whole card (processor + memory chips).
